A day for every child to choose a new outfit for the new school year!

The context

Organised in partnership between Fond'actions IDKIDS and Dons Solidaires since 2014, the "celebrate your look" day allows children from families in difficulty to choose a new outfit and proudly parade in it before wearing it to school.

The action

In 2019, it is with the Secours Populaire association of Roubaix . This association, which helps 4000 families, had prepared a catwalk with a stage and a snack for the 65 children in a room lent by the town hall. Okaïdi offered these outfits for the first cold days of winter. The hundred or so outfits were prepared by 11 volunteers from the textile brand.

The impact

7 associations and more than 500 children have been able to choose their outfits and parade for the past 6 years thanks to the outfits donated and prepared by the brand Okaïdi.
